Guidelines for risk-based accreditation decision-making

The Guidelines for risk-based accreditation decision making were developed and endorsed by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice, Chinese Medicine, Medical Radiation Practice, Paramedicine and Podiatry Accreditation Committees - these guidelines took effect on 1 July 2022.

Professional capabilities for Paramedicine Practitioners

The professional capabilities were approved by the Paramedicine Board of Australia, and identify the knowledge, skills and professional attributes needed to safely and competently practise as a Paramedic in Australia.

The approved accreditation standards 2020 require education providers to design and implement a program where learning outcomes and assessment tasks map to all the professional capabilities.
